The Madison City Commission approved on Monday the purchases of a trackloader and a brushmower for the city parks department.
Mike McGillivray, parks supervisor, presented two bids provided by Lake County International, the area Case-IH equipment dealership, for a Gehl trackloader and a Gehl brushmower.
The total cost for the two pieces of equipment – taken from the bid proposals -- was $60,329.
