Jacob and Josh Giles have had great starts to the 2016 football seasons for the Dakota State College and Madison Bulldogs. Both brothers play quarterback on their respective teams.
Jacob has led the Trojans to a 2-1 record, while his younger brother has guided the Bulldogs to a 3-0 mark so far this season.
I am not sure if there have been any brothers who have played for DSU and Madison and played the same position for their respective teams.
Before playing for the Trojans, Jacob quarterbacked the Bulldogs and now Josh is following in his footsteps.
Jacob has already earned two weekly awards from the NorthStar Athletic Association as its Offensive Player of the Week. With 400 yards and seven touchdowns, he should be able to bring home more weekly awards.
These two brothers are helping their teams to be the best they can be.
Jacob and the Trojans will be home for the next two weeks. Josh and the Bulldogs go to Lennox this Friday and will return to Trojan Field on Sept.
23.
