Staceys to observe 60th anniversary

Dorothy and Bud Stacey of Madison will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

On May 24, 1958, Dorothy Jean Seeley and Russell Clyde "Bud" Stacey were married in Clark. They moved to Madison shortly afterward. He worked for the Lake County Highway Department, retiring after 35 years. She had several jobs over the years, but retired from Dakota State University in 2000.

The couple have four children, Debra (Dean) Feistner, Ruth Stacey and Barbara Stacey, all of Madison, and Darrell (Jackie) Stacey of Watertown; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
