Allison Lee Weiland and David Raymond Mercer were married on Oct. 8 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Madison with The Rev. DeWayne Kayser officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ted Weiland.
The matron of honor was Meg Hentges. Bridesmaids were Kristen Ericsson and Jessica Jasso.
Flower girls were Mary Jane Mercer, Emma Mercer and Pearl Weiland. The ringbearer was Ryan Mercer.
Beth Mercer and Katrina Liesener served as the bride's personal attendants.
The best man was Daniel Burke and groomsmen were John Mercer and Chris Weiland. Ushers were Justin Weiland, Thomas Mercer, Maxon Keating and James Mercer.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Monica Pickard, organist; Aisha Talley, cantor; and Chris Weiland, soloist. Alexandra and Taylor Newcomb-Weiland sang a duet. Kelly Johnson read Scripture.
A reception was held at the ICON Event Center in Sioux Falls. A wedding dance followed with music provided by the Chuck Hendrickson Band,
The bride graduated from Madison High School in 2004 and received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in communications from South Dakota State University.
She is currently employed as an account executive for ABRA Auto Body and Glass in the Twin Cities.
The bridegroom graduated from Woodbury High School in Woodbury, Minn., and from the University of Minnesota with a degree in music. He is currently working as a sales representative for All Inc.
Parents of the couple are Ted and Kathy Weiland of Madison and Mike and Joanne Mercer of Woodbury, Minn.
Special guests attending the wedding were Betty Sunde and Terry Weiland, grandmothers of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple are at home in northeast Minneapolis.
