Alyssa Protsch and Jared Donahue exchanged wedding vows on July 5 in Howard.
The back yard of the home of the bride's parents, Greg and Chrysti Protsch, was the setting for the evening ceremony, which was officiated by Darwin Lynde, uncle of the bride.
The bridegroom's parents are Kristi and Pat Donahue of Winner.
The flower girls were Rayna Donahue, daughter of the couple; and the bride's nieces, Harper and Hadlee Protsch. The bridegroom's nephew, Cooper Koepsell, was the ringbearer.
Anita Haas was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister-in-law, Trisha Protsch, and Shelley Callies, Whitney Olson, Alexa Dold and Hannah Weiss. The bridegroom's niece, Kenedy Koepsell, was junior bridesmaid.
Dane Driscoll was the best man, and groomsmen were the bridegroom's brothers, Dylan and Nolan Donahue; his brother-in-law, Alex Protsch; and Trent Sherman and Seth Dawson. His nephew, Luke Koepsell, was junior groomsman.
The bride's personal attendants were Allison Muilenburg, Tracey Koch and Morgan Kirby.
Ushers were Matt LaCompte and Shane Pajl.
Anita and Michael Haas sang and played the guitar during the ceremony.
Dinner followed the wedding, along with a DJ and dancing.
Special guests were the bride's grandparents, Vincent and Mary Protsch, and Eunice Schwader; and the bridegroom's grandparents, Ardele and Beverly Donahue, all of the Howard area.
The couple lives in Sioux Falls. The bride graduated from the University of South Dakota and is studying for her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at USD. The bridegroom graduated from Dakota State University and is employed in sales at Maximum Promotions.
