Keith Koopman and the late Kelly Koopman of LeMars, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Koopman, to Jacob Dawson, son of Dan and Dianne Dawson of Howard.
The future bride is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and a school teacher currently in Sioux Falls.
Her fiance is a graduate of USD and a recent graduate of the School of Law at USD with plans to join a law practice in Madison.
Local grandparents include Marlys Dawson and Dewayne and Mary Ann Sievers.
Their wedding will be held in LeMars on June 3 at St. James Church with The Rev. Kevin Richter presiding.
