Dustin Patch, age 38, of Hartford, South Dakota, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home.

Dustin William Patch was the oldest of four sons, born to Bill and Sharon (Langner) Patch October 30, 1980 in Madison. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison. Dustin graduated in 2000 from Madison High School, where he ran track & cross country, making All-State for three years.

He married Erin Powell October 11, 2008 and together they had three sons. Dustin worked as a finance officer for the last ten years and was currently working at Big City Motors in Sioux Falls. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan and loved to play fantasy sports. Dustin's four sons were his greatest pride and joy, and he never missed an event that they were involved in.

Dustin was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hartford, where his sons attended Sunday School and Confirmation. He was also a FreeMason.

Dustin is survived by four sons: Gavin Powell, Carson, Jackson and Peyton Patch; his mother, Sharon Patch (Harlan Anderson) of Madison; his father, Bill Patch of Madison; and three brothers, Chad (Susan Poncelet) of Madison, Travis (Jordan Rollefson) of Yankton, and Tyler (Charlotte) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by his grandmother, Beverly Langner of Madison, his girlfriend, Allison Nevins of Sioux Falls, his niece, Macy Patch of Madison, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Langner and Lawrence and Lisvie Mary Patch.

Funeral service will be 2 PM on Saturday, April 20th at Trinity Lutheran Church, Madison, South Dakota with Pastor Constanze Hagmaier officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 to 6 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at the Weiland Funeral Chapel in Madison and will continue one hour before the service in the church Saturday. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Ramona, South Dakota.

The Weiland Funeral Chapel of Madison is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials will go to set up a college fund for Dustin's four sons.
