Brandon Valley tops Madison in golf dual

The Madison Lady Bulldogs golf team was back on the course Monday, facing the Brandon Valley Lynx at the Brandon Municipal Golf course.

Brandon Valley won the nine-hole dual meet with a low score of 173. The Lady Bulldogs fired a 195.

Mya Maxwell led the Lady Bulldogs with a low score of 46. She was followed by teammate Ally Vacanti, who carded a 47.

Rounding out the scoring for Madison were Kelsey Gustaf with a 52 and Lizzy Ellingson with a 50.

Brandon Valley's Julia Andresen was the meet medalist with a low score of 39.

Brandon Valley won the junior varsity division with a 204 while Madison had a 238.

Jenni Waba paced Madison's JV team with a low score of 53. Eleni Sims carded a 58 and was Madison's second golfer.

Rounding out scoring was Megan Bierschbach 62 and Mallorie Schultz 65.

Abby Palmquist finished with a 67.

Brandon Valley's Kate Livingston was the meet medalist for the junior varsity with a 49.

Madison will go to Hartford on Friday to participate in the West Central Invitational at Central Valley Golf Course. Action will begin at 1 p.m.
