The Chester Flyers had one relay team that broke a state standard time and qualified for the State Track Meet during the 94th annual Howard Wood Dakota Relays over the weekend in Sioux Falls.

The medley relay team of Karly Campbell, Jennilee Hoyer, Makenna Larson and Cami Streff placed second with a standard qualifying time of 4:24.54. This time was also a Chester school record; the old mark was set in 1984.

The foursome of Campbell, Jayda Kenyon, Hoyer and Larson also placed second in the 400-meter relay in 51.83 seconds.

Cami Streff had a state qualifying time of 5:33.52 in the 1600-meter run.

Howard's Madison Kizer was eighth in the girls high jump with a leap of 5-feet-02.

Madison didn't have a top-10 place finisher at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays.
