DSU got on the board in the third when Chris Burke doubled to knock in the tying run.

With the score deadlocked in the seventh, DSU's Ryan Jackovich singled with one out. Keaton Hoeke entered the game as a pinch runner for Jackovich and stole second base. Devin Jacobs hit a walk-off RBI single to score Hoeke and the Trojans earned their first home win since April 2017.

Trailing 4-0 in the fourth frame, the Trojans' Gannon belted a solo home run -- his first of the season and first of his career.

The V-Hawks scored once in the fourth and twice in the fifth inning for an 8-1 lead.

DSU pushed two runs across the plate in the sixth as Gannon and Burke each had an RBI single.

DSU had nine hits. Gannon was 3-for-3 with a home run, two singles and two RBIs. Burke and Marcos Alvarez each had a double and a single.
